How Bent Not Broken began
Bent Not Broken, Inc. was just a thought in 2018. To be frank, it was more of a saying. I have been through so much in my life that should have broken me; instead, it only bent me. Two years later came the birth of Bent Not Broken, Inc.
I chose the lotus as the symbol of my brand because I have been buried deep in my pain and depression, and I am about to bloom. The lotus is a flower that forms underwater. Buried deep in muddy water, it transforms into a beautiful flower.
The water represents being born into a world of suffering. The muddy water represents the struggles we have to go through. The final stage—the blooming—represents reaching our potential for growth.
